About

I have a strong interest in analogue design solutions, the importance of craft and making in the design process. I am interested in designers as producers, and how innovation and entrepeneurship can be fostered in design education.

I am also interested in the primacy of drawing and strategies to express  non verbal thinking. I have developed several research projects looking at how the use of drawing, illustration and visual metaphor can be used in educational contexts to help 'visual thinkers' organize conceptual material.
