About
Pauline studied her Visual Communications degree at Wolverhampton Polytechnic. She graduated with a specialism in packaging design and branding. She is particularly interested in pursuing research in the area of Facebook communication and sustainability and the use of materials used in packaging and how these impact on the environment around us. She has worked in the design industry in Cardiff, South Wales at Peter Gill Associates, Penknife Design and Drake Educational Design. She has also run her own business alongside her full-time employment here at the North Wales School of Art & Design.
Pauline completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Education here at NEWI.
She has acted as both External and Internal Panel Member in the validation/review of approving new programmes at many universities throughout the UK. She is currently the External Examiner for SMU's HND programmes in Graphic Design, Illustration, Surface Pattern, Photography in the Arts and Photojournalism. This has provided her with insight into new programme developments and increased her awareness of standards of student work produced nationally and internationally.
